We have all seen the photos / lived through our spates of Winter weather so far this year. I recommend checking your local NWS forecast and getting any journeys done before later this week and into the weekend. This may effect many areas in the state.

Is Red Cross Decision support services has a good overview, but let your local forecast be your guide.

Protect People, Plants, Pets, and Pipes, and Get on the air in the case of Power Failure, communications outage / overload, or internet outage. Your skills may prove of service!

I've been telling my civilian friends it's a good time to do a dry run of your emergency plans.

"What emergency plans" and a deer in the headlights look is often the response, but it's good to at least plant the idea in their heads.
