I have been advocating Telnet on Starlink for some time. Fast and it keeps the RF spectrum clear for those that have no other route out.
I use Starlink 24x7. But in a disaster their ground stations link to theme Internet may be down or overwhelmed. But in a disaster anything’s better than nothing. NB5C

Our training needs to employ many avenues and communication pathways. One constant about communication pathways, they are not constant. We need to be able to pivot and adapt.
Agreed. We are communicators. We are there to get the message from Point A to Point B. We use whatever resources are available. Resources can be Amateur Radio, GMRS, CB, Internet, carrier pigeon, etc.
