TX ARES Net Report for 11/04/2024

Jeff, since there seems to be some interest, how about you work out a date to get this class done.

Call it – WinLink 101 or something like that. Think of it like the class Linda used to give…

I am available Tuesday-Saturday nights, since I do the NW net on Sunday and the State net Monday.

I will host/teach on my Zoom and send you the invite to spread out.

I can take up to 200 in my room, don’t think size will be an issue!

I would like to learn myself. I have had my general license for a long while but I have no practical experience at all.

Good Morning,

Am I the only one having this problem? Did you receive the normal number of Winlink messages on last Monday?
It looks like I will not be able to send Winlink messages as this address conversion continues on my tests. I will try to replace the current version of winlink and see if that fixes the problem. I also cannot be heard on the radio with all of the QRM in my area.
NB5C.

Yes.
