Texas QSO Party Counties on the Air Map Needs Your Input
Thanks for participating in last year’s TQP. We’re hoping you’ll be back for TQP 2025 which is coming soon in mid-September.
- Session 1 Starts 1400UTC September 20 and Ends 0200UTC September 21
- Session 2 Starts 1400UTC September 21 and Ends 2000UTC September 21
We’ve just started receiving input to populate the Counties on the Air page and currently have two “lone star” mobiles signed up to activate 60 of the 254 counties. This email is a request for information regarding planned activity from additional stations, both fixed and mobile. Here’s the needed info to include in an email to me to put your operation on the map
Fixed Stations: Please provide
- One of the following, specifying day(s) of operation: SAT, SUN
- One of the following, specifying modes of operation CW, PH, DIG, MIX
- County you plan to operate from – where the antenna is located
Please use county full names. For fixed stations the preferred format is shown in this example of a station (NO5W) operating CW only out of Montgomery county.
NO5W(SAT-CW)=Montgomery
NO5W(SUN-CW)=Montgomery
Mobile Stations: Please provide
- One of the following specifying day(s) of operation: SAT, SUN
- One of the following modes of operation CW, PH, DIG, MIX
- List of counties you plan to operate from.
Please use county full names. For mobiles the preferred format is shown in this example of NO5W mobile operating mixed mode out of three counties each day
