[STXARES] Yaho groups going away

IMHO The person uploading/sharing the file is the approver…

While on the subject of uploaded files… I copied almost all of the photos and was working on the files and folders of files and noted that many were a decade or over old…

So to that end, I would like those that uploaded files in the past to review what you put on the Yahoogroup and refresh them or at least validate they are worth putting on the new .io group…

Whatever you do, don’t fall victim to “paralysis by
analysis.” Go ahead and buy/build one and start
tinkering with it. This is a learn by doing hobby.

No politician or scholar assured your freedoms.
A Soldier, Sailor, Marine, or Airman did!

There will always be forms, net control scripts, lessons, photos, etc. that people will

want to (should want to) share in the group. It seems to me that they have gone off

half cocked, who approved this? Anyway, everybody seems to be climbing aboard.

Your call.

Glenn,
I’ve sent you an invite via email… If you get it just reply and check your inbox and spam folder for the confirmation email… Once you reply to that you should be able to send/receive emails through the group as emails shouldn’t be blocked by your firewall…

Have you tried using a VPN? That might get you through the firewall. PIA works for some guys I know in PRC.

Can’t see groups.io due to firewall rules.

Dallas, it might be a good idea to at least list the file uploader’s id’s because many of us have no idea what we might have uploaded last month, let alone 10 years ago. Some of it might still be of interest, and of course, some of it now useless.
Surprisingly, that list is not as lengthy as one might expect for files that in some cases are 15 years old.

This applies to attachments as well ….. I discovered that I had made an attachment long ago that was a list of participants for a single night on the hf net. Needless to say, that has now been deleted.
