If people:
- WOULD LISTEN before keying the mike.
- SLOW DOWN. This is a net, not a contest or like event.
- The double call sign helps.
- The THIS IS does help on some repeaters which take a second to “spool up”, and clips the prefix of the call. NW’s 4th week repeater does just that.
Having done NC for NW, the slow down with THIS IS helps with the NC getting the call right the first time.
