I have only known Judy for a few months. What impressed me so much was her selfless contributions and I have told her and several others the same. Beyond being a voluntary contribution, she was not even a ham! To go further she treated it as a career, with immense amounts of dedication. When she started the project, it was light years beyond everything the ARRLHQ had to offer and to date still offers many features that the ARRL proper has not yet learned how to implement and support.
She was a true developer. She found problems and taught herself how to use code to engineer solutions. She had a big picture mindset and a keen ability to predict what the cause and effect results would be for her every change in code. Most systems on this level have entire teams of developers to have this type of insight. She worked solo, she took on the duties of studying the problems, engineering processes and procedures, translating that to the various software languages that she needed to learn, coding it, testing, implementing and supporting it all with bug fixes and tech support for years after the work was done.
An amazing gift to the section and an amazing woman.
