Hurricane Pamela is headed towards landfall in Mexico. As most Texans are aware, late in hurricane season it is possible that eastern Pacific storms can come ashore and impact TX. As we saw from Ida impact in the Northeast, these impacts can be severe and far reaching. So that is all history that causes us to want to be especially watchful this week. The main threat will be flash flooding. Remember most flash flooding deaths occur in vehicles.
