TX ARES HF Net

Hi,

I just noticed that calendar in Groups.io is incorrectly showing the TX ARES HF net on Tuesday, very early in the morning. I noticed that when I went in to check and see if there was a net planned on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025. It seems like this is because the calendar time is UTC and not local. Subtracting 5 hours from the time shown on the calendar puts the net where it is supposed to be at 7:30 PM local time on Monday evenings. Someone may want to have a look at this and correct it to avoid confusion.

I would try to fix this but not sure that I have the correct privileges to edit the calendar. If nothing else adding that the time is shown in UTC might help.

I have my master Preferences on my groups.io account [i.e., not specific to this or any one group, but on my account overall] set to Time Zone “UTC-5 Chicago”, and the net shows 1930 to 2000 on the calendar. If I change my account-wide TZ preference to UTC, it shows the net at 0030 to 0100.

Do you have your account TZ preference set for UTC-5, or UTC? Drop down your name at the top right, click Settings, then Preferences. Look at Timezone. Make sure to scroll down and click Save if you change it.
