Here we go again. I received a confirmation email from AA5AF.org Monday for my digital WinLink checkin using VARA-FM, node was N5TRS-12, frequency was 145.090 MHz. Copied several other hams as well who received my message. Why can’t you folks seem to find me and report it? This is the second failure in 2 successive weeks. What is the problem? Also, I checked in for District 14 north, was acknowledged and included verbally in the tally of everyone for District 14 north, and yet was omitted from the final report. I’m starting to take these omissions personally. Clark KI5EYI. District 14 N.E.

Hello Clark,

I cannot say why you are not on the report.
The report generated is from the targeted address of TXARES-HF only. It doesn’t make the report if you send it to everyone else in the section, including me.
I see that you are on prior reports so you must have had the correct address at some point.

It does not make sense that you would be singled out to not make the report and rarely does anyone claim to be missing from the WinLink report.
We get busted call signs frequently on the voice net and make corrections.
I do not know how the data is gathered and sent to me for the final report. It is reasonable that Dave Fanelli will investigate.
