[stxares] BAND PLAN, 2 METER, DETAILED

Hi Chris,

Can you point me to the Texas 2M band plan?

I am looking for a proper simplex frequency for a small group. I have used 146.46 in the Houston area in the past.

Thank you,

146.46 is a good frequency. Used to be used as a remote base frequency off of UHF repeaters back in the day..

Just don’t believe the six meter band plan and the 2m band plan, they’re coordinating, illegally I might add, 10 khz split channels on 2m now

That was never approved by the membership as required by the bylaws! Several of us who are life members are considering a class action lawsuit and have filed complaints with the secretary of state which oversees non-profit organizations in Texas.

It may be time for a new coordination group in Texas
