This HF Net happens every other month which in frequently.

I suggest placing this HF Net on the Group.IO calendar. There is nothing there now. More members might participate.

What time of day is the net? And why only ever other month?

The HF Net on 60M Ch1 begins at 8pm. The RACES Plan was effective 05/01/23. Why ?

Thank you for the info on the 60 M nets date and time. I was not aware that there was a RACES plan on 60 M? I do know that I have travel to Austin, Texas several times and meet with Mr Lemmon. During those meetings I tried to encourage him to get RACES to participate with Army & AF MARS with amateur radio operators. These COMEX took place several times a year on 60M.

Example we are currently in a COMEX 23-4 for the sole purpose to participate with amateur SET exercises during September and October. This is why your 60 M net channel 1 net caught my attention.

As you are probably seeing in this mornings Texas Races messages there is a definite need to update and distribute enhanced instructions covering the 60M Net.
