The members of Brazos Co. ARES has asked about
teaching a Radio Merit Badge to the scouts this
Spring. A few years back the local club would teach
the merit badge to scouts on field day.

K2BSA has a great Power Point for the current Radio Merit Badge.

We use it when facilitating Radio Merit Badge at winter camp and at summer camp.

A member from our local club (TEAC) also comes out for a day and helps show the Scouts his equipment and helps them get on the air. He even facilitated a little fox hunt.

Great share. Some feel the hobby is dying. I tend to believe the opposite. I am back after a long break. I love how it continues to evolve and I am having fund while also preparing for the next major disaster in our area.
