I was very overwhelmed by Lee’s unexpected comments on the ARES NW net tonight. I should have quickly pointed out how Paul Owen N5NXS was of immense help to me. His 30 years of primary Net Control experience was of supreme help as he guided me and logged for me. I learned even more today doing some backup and a lot of logging to reciprocate. There is a wealth of experience and camaraderie in the GRB ham team. Have to say it was a blast.

.. and thanks to all of the hams inside and OUTSIDE of the GRB out on the course, I know I am sore for the 8 hours I spent on a bicycle shadowing the Sector 6 captain - but a great experience!
